- Contributors must be B.C. residents and Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
- Organizations cannot make campaign contributions.
- Contributions must come from the contributor’s own funds and cannot be reimbursed.
- The 2026 maximum contribution an individual can contribute to a local candidate is $1,429.70.
- The financial agent must record each contributor’s full name, residential address, contribution date and amount.
- Contributions are not eligible for tax receipts.
